The 2018 challenge is now on and we are once again partnering with The Township of Langley and The Langley Arts Council on this wonderful, sustainable art event! Upcycling involves taking waste material that would otherwise end up in our landfills and turning it into something valuable. Couch cushions transformed into a cozy sweater? An old bicycle tire becomes a funky clock? The options are only limited by your own creativity! Take the challenge and create something amazing. Entry deadline is Saturday, April 14th. Entries must be received at the Willowbrook Shopping Centre on Friday April 13, 2:00-6:00pm or Saturday April 14, 2:00-6:00pm in unit 501 beside Urban Planet (by the Starbucks entrance).
For more information about entering and art piece, please visit The Township Of Langley Upcycling Design Challenge.
