I’ve always been a big fan of matcha (aka a specially-grown and processed green tea, typically in a finely-grounded powder form, which gives off a very unique aroma and flavour when you brew it). Not only is it super delicious, it’s also extremely good for the body as it’s packed with antioxidants and vitamins which help to boost metabolism, burn calories, detoxify, lower both cholesterol and blood sugar as well as prevent diseases. Best of all, matcha contains a very unique, potent class of antioxidant known as catechins (which isn’t found in other foods, btw!) that is said to provide cancer-fighting properties.
