Summer may soon be over, and although it is disappointing, there is one thing I look forward to every year… Fall Fashions!
Fall is one of my favourite fashionable seasons. It’s like you get to restart with a whole new wardrobe in the middle of the year, and who could say anything is wrong with that. Fall is always great for a mix of sophisticated “wear-to-work” fashions as well as some much needed comfy athleisure wear! There are the go-to staples like a great pair of denim, a light raincoat (much needed in the Raincouver area), new boots and a selection of cozy sweaters, but there are some other trends I’ve been keeping my eye on come September. Check it out below!

The ultimate in casual comfort... an Adidas tracksuit. This tracksuit is the epitome of sportswear integration into fashion! I loved Adidas tracksuits when they first came out in the 70's and I STILL love them today! There's nothing I'd rather do on the weekend than kick back in an Adidas classic black tracksuit with white stripes and chill out with friends! Check out this classic available at Sport Chek!

If you know me, you know I LOVE Brunette The Label! Known for their slogan t's and sweaters (ex "Babes Supporting Babes", "You Can Sip With Us" and "Babes Who Brunch"), I can't get enough of this local brand (Ya! They are designed by a Vancouverite!!). The name bar leather jacket isn't something I want for this fall season, it's something I NEED! This minute I see the brunette name bar jacket at Below The Belt, I'm picking it up (and wearing it almost every day!).

Has camouflage become cool again? If Victoria Beckham knows anything about fashion (hint she was "Posh Spice"), then yes! Mrs Beckham was spotted out on the town this week in camo and looked OUTSTANDING! Camo is back in full force this season and I couldn't be happier! I have got to get these camo print pants from Sirens in my closet! The draw-string makes them cozy and comfy, but the camo print says "I might be a little tougher than you think".

Business in the back, party in the front! The blazer with slogan t-shirt look is soooo in right now! Fashion forward, business casual, and totally fun! I mean, who wouldn't want to say "Limited Edition"... so much confidence in one look. Want this exact look? Find it at Dynamite!

Yes... overalls are in fashion! I remember wearing these as a kid and I can't wait to get another pair now as an adult and reminisce with flashbacks! Overalls just scream fun and lightheartedness and are the perfect way to jump into a fun fall season! Whether paired with booties and a long sleeve for a casual look, over a black turtleneck for a fashion-forward look, or over a crop top for a fun and flirty look. I think everyone needs at least one pair of overalls in their fall closet! Check out this distressed pair available at Garage!

Patterned pants! It's not just plain black pants for the office anymore. Patterned dress pants are in this season! I love these polka dot black fitted pants from Aldila. They still look professional while adding a contemporary edge!

And of course, no fall fashion list would be complete without denim and I'm tired of the plain old denim and looking forward to some reworked denim. I recently visited Hudson's Bay where they have such a huge selection of reworked denim from distressed to fringe and embellished to pearl adorned. I know my fall wardrobe will be stacked high with lots of denim and none of them will be boring!
